The new hours will make those programs more accessible to our students without missing academic time.SCHOOL HOURS:8:00 a.m to 2:30 p.m. Big Picture Application Process: We accept new students to Big Picture on a space-available basis by application and interview. If you are applying for 10th or 11th grade, you must attach a copy of your most recent transcript to the application. For 10th and 11th grade applicants, other requirements for consideration will be sent to you upon receipt of completed application. Nashville Big Picture High School, the first of its kind in the South, opened in August 2007. Housed at the Martha Vaught building, located at 160 Rural Road, this school has increased from its initial enrollment of 60 ninth-grade students to now serving 180 students in grades 9-12. At Nashville Big Picture High School (NBPHS), we offer a rigorous, highly personalized college-preparatory curriculum that combines academic work with real-world experiences and project-based learning.
